How to secure your Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA/835)
We offer Electronic Remittances (ERAs/835s) to all physicians, hospitals and other health care professional in our network, regardless of claims submission method.
Free fromwww.UnitedHealthcareOnline.com - Once you enroll in our Electronic Payments & Statements product for direct deposit, you are also eligible to download a free ERA/835 directly form this Web site, on the Electronic Payments & Statements Online Presentment screen. Please refer to the Electronic Payments & Statements Demo and/or User Guide to view this functionality. This free ERA/835 is available within 3-5 business days after we process your Electronic Payments & Statements enrollment form.
Through your clearinghouse/Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Vendor - UnitedHealthcare also transmits ERAs/835s with all of our EDI clearinghouse vendors. If you wish to secure your ERA/835 from your clearinghouse, please contact them to request direct delivery of your ERA/835 from UnitedHealthcare on your behalf. Once we receive the request from your clearinghouse/EDI vendor, it takes about 30 days to set up delivery of the ERA/835.
